Itinerary
From Jenin to Jerusalem - A day by day breakdown

Day 1:
Arrival
Following your arrival at Tel Aviv airport we will arrange to meet you at a central location in Jerusalem which is convenient for all of those taking part in the tour. From here you'll be taken by mini-bus to the El Beit guesthouse in Bethlehem for a brief orientation. After which our driver will transfer you to Jenin where you'll meet with guides, discuss special needs, expectations and have the final instructions before the tour starts. Dinner and overnight in Hadad Resort.

Day 2:
Jenin to Nablus

Cycle from Jenin towards Sabastya, ancient Canaanite, Hellenistic and Roman city. Starting at Haddad resort, cycle towards the village of Zebabdeh, towards the village of Missilieh. Continuing to the village of Sanour and its beautiful plains. Onwards towards the villages of Yassid and Beit Imrin by hilly roads. Arrive at the hilltop village of Sabastyah

Sabastya is believed to be the place where John the Baptist was beheaded. Lunch in Sabastya then tour the ancient city and meet the local community. After lunch we cycle to Nablus, tour the old city and enjoy a Turkish bath. Dinner and overnight in the Al- Yasmin hotel- in the old city of Nablus.

Day 3:
Nablus to Taybeh

Cycle to Taybeh. Start at the old city of Nablus towards the south passing the village of Huwarah, and Beita. Continue towards the village of Aqraba and look down at the Jordan Valley. Continue towards Majdal Bani Fadil and rest in the village of Duma. Afterwards, cycle towards Mughayyar and Khirbet Abu Fallah villages. Afterwards we push the bikes up the highest hill in the Ramallah area (the strongest will take the hill on). With the support vehicle in attendance we head towards the village of Kofur Malik and then Dier Jarir. Arrive to Taybeh village in the late afternoon.

There we'll tour the old village and St. George's Church. Then we'll visit the Peace Lantern factory, the beer factory and enjoy dinner with local families. We'll stay overnight in the Church guest house in Taybeh.

Day 4:
Taybeh to Jericho and the Dead Sea
Cycle to Jericho. The easiest day in the entire tour, mostly down hill. Visit Hisham's Palace and the Mount of Temptation. Then cycle through the Jerusalem Wilderness to the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in the Jericho resort village.

Day 5:
Jericho to Mar Saba
Cycle part of the way to Bethlehem. Visit Nabi Musa then walk on the dirt road to Mar Saba Monastery. Enjoy the wilderness and experience the dramatic landscape. After visiting Mar Saba Monastery we'll cycle to Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. Accommodation will be in the El Biet Guesthouse in Beit Sahour.
We have a few long hills to climb- but the views are worth it!
 
Day 6:
Bethlehem to Hebron
Cycle around Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherd's Field. In the afternoon we'll cycle to Hebron and visit the old city. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem Farewell party and Debkeh dance event in the tent restaurant in the Bethlehem area. Dinner and overnight in El Beit Guesthouse in Beit Sahour.

Day 7:
Bethlehem to Jerusalem
An easy ride from delightful Bethlehem to the divided city of Jerusalem. Visit Jerusalem Old City. Enjoy an alternative political and cultural tour in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Departure
